Reclaiming Your Life

Think back to the last big decision you made.

What were you contemplating before you made your choice?

You'll never find happiness until you stop living for others.

Often times you find yourself living a life that was not quite what you wanted or expected.

This can happen because of pressure from others or just because things didn’t quite work out how you planned.

Whether it’s within your career, your relationships, or another aspect of your life and you feel

challenged with your current reality, it’s never too late to reclaim your life.

Taking control of your life begins with your mindset. You cannot change anything unless you’re

willing to confront it. When you challenge yourself to do something you think is impossible, you

push yourself to move past your perceived limitations.

Living your best life is all about interconnection of the mind, body and soul and how each has the

power to affect the other. When these three are in alignment, you are able to explore new pathways

to inner peace and experience living a more fulfilling life.

It’s understanding that mind, body, and soul are all interconnected – that we are one with the

omnipresence of God. Knowing we all have the ability to change anything and learn how to get to a

place where we can vibrate at higher levels of spiritual awareness to make a difference in the world.

It is through this truth of oneself that you embrace the person you look at in the mirror. It’s how you

see yourself and not worrying about how others see you. It is in this place all things become

accessible: purpose, happiness, strength, power, prosperity and wisdom.

Your true identity goes way beyond: birth, growing up, aging, education, career, relationships and

accumulating knowledge or wealth.

It’s a place where you know who you are and what you want to create.

A place where you will not entertain negativity.

A place where you can focus on effectiveness, improvement, and development of self.

A place of purpose and personal fulfillment.

A place of being comfortable in your own skin.

A place where you learn to master your thoughts to create your present reality.

A place of expansion.

A place of higher consciousness.

A place that allows you to attract specific people, places and things to change your life.

A place of unlimited access.

A place that liberates you and reveals your true identity

You may not realize this but who you are and what you become is largely a reflection of your

routines and behaviors. It’s really amazing when you start to think about all the thoughts and

practices you have formed during the course of your life and how it has impacted the decisions you

have made in your life.

The simplest change can have the biggest impact on your life.

Here are 5 Simple Ways to Reclaim Your Life

·   Invest time in building yourself – Take a step back and evaluate where you are and where you

would like to be and set goals

·   Practice affirmations - Recite positive words of what you want to create and repeat them daily

·   Make a decision – Change only happens when something moves. Decide what you want and

take action

 ·  Prioritize your life – Focus on what is important and think about the big picture

·   Find a mentor or coach - Get a support system that can help keep you stay on track

Creating Freedom To Do What You Love

start today.jpg

Why do we blame others for our unhappiness?

Do you really believe that other people are responsible for how you feel?

We give others too much credit and control over our emotions.

People may do things we don’t like, but we can’t control what they do.

We can only control how we react.

Learning to love your life brings you such a great sense of fulfillment once you start letting go of all

your past experiences, expectations, and preconceived notions of what you think happiness means.

Take the time out to find out what’s important to you and why?

Be honest with yourself and dig deep beneath the surface to allow your inner spirit to be set free.

Let go of the “old you” to experience the “new improved” you.

Finding your personal peace is like finding a pot of gold.

When your days become so preoccupied with things to do, it becomes harder and harder to

appreciate and enjoy life.

Inner peace can only be found when you reject your ego.

The ego loves to find everything wrong with others and themselves.

It’s self-destructive and looks at all the negatives in every situation.

It holds grudges and is not willing to compromise on any level.

The ego craves recognition and acknowledgement.

It’s self-seeking and needs to feel superior over others and seeks revenge.

It’s fearful.

It’s anxious and always worrying about things.

It’s resentful towards others and carries feelings of hopelessness and despair.

In a nutshell your ego can be harmful to your health.

Imagine how wonderful life would be if you were able to maintain your personal peace and not

become unraveled by situations or circumstances.

There is a special prayer that has always given me clear perspective in challenging times and that is

the serenity prayer.

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I

can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Life is like a roller coaster it will always have unexpected ups and downs, twists and turns, so enjoy

the ride.

Whether you want to believe it or not, you already have everything you need to create freedom to do

the things you love, just try to find pleasure in all of your experiences and focus on the present

moment.

Change is inevitable, so don’t run away from it. It’s a natural part of life, and the reality is that

nothing lasts forever.

Heraclitus, an ancient Greek philosopher, once said, “The only thing that is constant is change.”

Identifying Healthy Relationships

is my relationship healthy.png

Looking back on past relationships, we sometimes wonder: why didn’t we see the red flags?

Sometimes our judgment is clouded and we fail to recognize warning signs that were always

apparent. Learning how to identify the warning signs in the beginning of a relationship can help

prevent unnecessary heartache and pain.

There are general warning signs that you shouldn’t ignore before investing your time and heart, so

that you can sever your ties before the attachment grows stronger and you get hurt.

Determine what your main requirements are and stick to them. It’s important not to lower your

standards and settle for anything less than you deserve.

Here are six relationship red flags you need to remember:

Flag #1 - Not Available on the Weekends

If the person you are falling for is only available to see you on weekdays or late at night, chances are

there is another love interest already occupying their time.

Flag #2 - Texting Rather Than Calling

When a person prefers to text you all the time rather than call, this is a clue that they are too busy or

involved with someone else; If someone really wants to get to know you, they will call you and hunt

you down like a predator hunts prey to prove their desire to be with you.

Flag #3 - Wanting Intimacy To Soon

If the person you’re dating tells you how much they love you and want you after the first date, they

are obviously playing mind games.  Developing a friendship and romance takes time to

progress. Allow them to ask you out a few more times before intimacy occurs. You’re worth it!

Flag #4 - Not Looking for a Commitment

Avoid people who take you on an emotional roller coaster. If the person that you are seeing has told

you that they are not looking for a serious relationship, they have clearly decided from the very

beginning that they do not want to become emotionally involved with you.

Flag #5 - Treat Others Badly

How a person treats their family members and friends is definitely a sign of how they will treat you,

especially if you get on their bad side. If they treat others poorly or they talk back to friends or

family chances are they’ll treat you just as poorly.

Flag #6 - A One- Sided Relationship

If you’re the only one trying to keep the relationship going, you are already working too hard.

Relationships are two way streets; both parties need to be involved. If you get the impression you’re

investing more than he is pump the breaks and move on!
